Earn Swagbucks Points Fast with Swagbucks TV

One thing I have gotten addicted to is watching the Swagbucks videos at Swagbucks TV. 

At first, I only tuned in to Swagbucks TV to earn Swagbucks fast but as I explored and viewed the more I realized I was enjoying what I watched.

I am in love with the food videos.  Just this morning I learned how to make poached eggs.  I know, many of you already know how to do this, but I didn't.  And the video was only 2 minutes long.

My family are movie goers, at least twice a month.  So another category I like watching is the movie trailers.

Swagbucks: Is It Worth It?

I've been doing the math.

I earn about 10 Swagbuck points per day.  That is 300 per month, minimum.

At this rate, I can achieve my goal of obtaining the Paypal cash of $25 in about 11 months.

My first inclination is to quit Swagbucks.  BUT then  I wonder.  It takes me less than a minute to earn those 10 points.  I do the daily poll for 1 point and a simple search which usually yields 8-11 points.

The math: 

1 min/day

30 min/month

11 months to earn $25. 

11 months x 30 min/month = 330 min for $25

330 min = 5.5 hours

$25 / 5.5 hrs = $4.55/hr

Less than minimum wage for the United States.

Is this worth it? (Stick with me here.)

Yes and no.  

When I do the math, no.  Really, who wants to earn $4.55 / hr? 

Actually, many Internet marketers and online entrepreneurs make less than that for the first 2 years. 

So, in hindsight.  One minute a day to earn what I wouldn't otherwise is a fair trade.  And I can say, Swagbucks is pretty generous with their points compared to what I have attempted in the past.  And it is fun and easy.

My numbers are based on the minimum points.  I do usually earn more.  AND if I get people under me, which I do, the potential to earn more rises.

SAHM and Swagbucks

Stay at Home Mom for 12 Years. 

Actually, I am still in that limbo state where I am employed (sub teacher) but part-time and I am trying to make a living online.  I stay home most days to work on my blog, Ramblings of a WAHM, and any of my other online adventures online like my Hubpages and this blog.  When my kids get home from school I am there, so I still consider myself a SAHM but almost WAHM.  Let's just say I am a mom of many coats, lol.
 

While I was a full time SAHM I wished I knew about the opportunities available to me online to bring home some extra cash or even free stuff to help my family out.  Just a year ago or so I decided to start researching online income.  I have been working online for over a year now and I have settled in quite well. I have found some extraordinary sites that offer great opportunity to bring home that extra cash.  And every month I grow more.

I started out this online journey with my main blog, my baby, my hopes and dreams, Ramblings of a WAHM.  This is my hub.  I talk about how to blog for in income, how to blog, social media, SEO and my online income journey there.  I love my blog. It is made of my blood, sweat and tears.

Then I started Hubpages account.  You can find me there as AllieRambles. I write articles there and make some extra cash every month.  The more you put in the more you get.  Honestly, not many people earn a living there but I can say the earning potentials are great. 

And I am also active on Swagbucks.  This is my fun place.  The place I go to when I don't want to go offline but don't really feel like thinking much.  I earn points there so I can turn them into gift cards or PayPal money.  If you would like to know more just read What is Swagbucks?

It is not a cake walk, by any means.  You still need to earn your living BUT it is all you.  Your earnings are your choice.  How much do you want to make?  Sure you do start out slow.  Two cents in the first month is common.  But keep going, before you know it you've made a sale from something you sell on your blog, earned enough points to get a $10 Amazon Gift Card and your Google Adsense account is growing slowly. 

As you grow so does your income.  It does take some time, a little knowledge and some hard work.

I just did a Swagbucks Search and received 33 points!  I know that is no jackpot but the usual amounts are between 7-12 points.

Swagbucks NOSO: No Obligation Special Offers

My first thought when I saw Swagbucks NOSO was "what the heck?"  I wasn't interested and didn't click on the NOSO menu for a few weeks after joining Swagbucks.  Then one day I was reading the Swagbucks blog and the subject of NOSO came up.  They explained it was simply a "No Obligation Special Offer" path you follow to get points at the end.  Oh my!  I felt stupid!  How easy is that?

So I tried it.  It took about a minute to keep clicking "next offer" and then at the end I entered the code exactly like it looks and got 2 Swagbucks.

Swagbucks Coupons: Clipping Coupons Has Never Been More Rewarding

I am just starting to get my credits for using coupons at Swagbucks.

About 8 weeks ago I used 2 coupons at my local Safeway store that I clipped at the Swagbucks coupon section.   I am not usually a coupon clipping person but Swagbucks makes it easy to grab them.  I figure I am on Swagbucks everyday so might as well grab some coupons of items I use often.  And when I did I saved money and received 10 points per coupon!

You will need to install the Coupon Printer but don't worry it has been verified by TRUSTe privacy services; it is safe to download.

And it does take 8-12 weeks to see the points because the coupons need to go through the store back to Swagbucks to be processed.

Let me tell you, it is worth it.  Start today, clip and use every time you shop and you should get Swagbucks every week or so.

I'm going to Blogher '11 in August and I need business cards.  Everyone knows Vista Print is the way to go.  You can get deals all the time there.  But wait!  Why not get a deal AND Swagbucks??

Did You Do Your Daily Poll Yet?

Everyday that I visit Swagbucks I take the Daily Poll.  You only get 1 SB BUT that is 365 a year or about 1/2 the amount to get a $5 gift card for Paypal.(I know, not much, but that is not the only thing you are doing to earn, right? It all adds up!)

Swagbucks Trusted Surveys

I just completed my first Swagbucks survey. 

Did I mention I hate doing surveys?  They are so boring.

But I know the ones here get you Swagbucks and they aren't that bad.  

First, SB tells you how long the survey should take.

Second, you get to know your odds of qualifying directly from you Swagbucks Survey Dashboard.

Third, you know exactly how many SB you get when you finish the survey.

Before you start taking surveys, you will need to register to take the surveys.  This is to weed out the surveys that are not pertinent to you.  The registration takes maybe 2 minutes and simply acts you a little about your background and your interests.  It's simple and non-intrusive.

Surveys seem to average around 50-75 SB, at least mine do.  Seems like a good trade for your time.

Swagbucks Memorial Day Collectors Bills

As I learn more about Swagbucks I find I am enjoying the site more and more.  It is fun!

As you know I like to do Swagbucks Searches to earn quick easy bucks.  Just yesterday Swagbucks releases their Memorial Day Collector’s Bills.  As you search with SB you can earn these Bills to add to a collection and when you earn all of them before Friday, May 27th you earn an extra 20 Bucks!

I am now on a mission!  I have already found one, the Washington Bill for 7 Bucks.  You'll bet I'll be looking/searching for more.

Swagbucks: Taking Polls

I have been a Swagbucks member now for about 2 weeks.  I love using the search capabilities to make easy points quickly.  (I am that much closer to my $20 Target Gift Card).

Another great way to earn quickly is simply taking the Daily Poll.  Sure, it only gives you 1 point BUT over a month that is 30 points for simply clicking a check mark and the voting.  Just a few days ago I voted in my favorite flavor of M&M, plain of course.  It was so easy!

What? It's that EASY? Search Online to Earn More!

I didn't join SwagBucks that long ago. But the very first thing I noticed was the ease of earning while Swagbucks searching.

If you use the search feature that SwagBucks has you WILL be rewarded with SB by the 3rd search, I do.  Sometimes it is just a couple of SB yet today it was 27.  Not bad.  It is random amounts but it's fun seeing what you will get! 

And it's not some funky search engine that gives you strange results, I have done the same exact search on Google and get the same results.

You can go to SwagBucks and do your searching.  Or if you use Firefox as your browser it can easily be placed as one of your default search engines. And you can search right from the toolbar you download to your browser.

It is so easy and fast!

Welcome to My SwagBucks Tips

I'm Allie and I am a WAHM.  Specifically, I work on the Internet teaching people how to blog and earn money online at Ramblings of a WAHM blog.

I consider learning and earning online income a journey.  And my latest quest is at Swagbucks.

To be honest with you I was a bit skeptical with Swagbucks in the beginning.  Many of my friends were tweeting about it or sending links in their emails as a signature.   I would pretty much ignore it.  But as time went on I noticed more and more people were joining Swagbucks.  I decided to check it out.

Now, I have been part of the "earning online to get points" bandwagon before.  And I NEVER gained enough points to redeem.  Do you know why? 

1. I never put the time in to try.
2. Their sites just didn't have quick and easy interface.
3. And, frankly, I forgot to visit.

Swagbucks is different, I noticed this from the beginning. 

They have a very simple interface and their site is laid out so simple.  No searching for ways to earn, they are there for you on the site.  And they have a toolbar that you can simply place with your browser to remind you.

They also have SO MANY ways to earn on Swagbucks.  Like surveys? They have them.  Do you watch news, home, fashion or cooking videos?  You can earn by just watching.  Take the daily poll.  Search with their search engine (I have earned many points doing this.)

I can't list all the all simple ways to earn at Swagbucks in just one post.  You'll just have to go see yourself.
